Friday Funny: Punctuation and Language

It's Friday, a day for winding down, for looking forward to the weekend. It's a great time to share a laugh and a giggle, so on Fridays I like to share something funny with you, and I hope you'll join in the fun.

So, the idea is to share anything that is humorous. It can be a funny post you've written in the past or present, a video you've found, a joke you've heard, a funny picture...anything that tickles your funny bone.
This video was shared with me by a virtual assistant acquaintance, so I thought I would share it with you here; my blogger friends might also appreciate the literary humour. Here's Victor Borge with Phonetic Pronunciation.

While we are talking about the English language and its punctuation, it segues nicely into this funny commercial about language.

So, if you want to link up, here are the rules:
  1. If you're new here, follow Tropical Mum via RSS Feed, email subscription or Google Friend Connect.
  2. Share your funny on your blog and link up below.
  3. Don't forget to put the Friday Funny badge on your side bar or in your blog post.
  4. Visit some of the other bloggers who've linked up and spread the comment love.
It's that simple.

  3. It matters not whether it is a new post or old post, 'funny' is the criterion!

  4. Me too. I think even if no one joined in, I'd still do this every week, because it is a great excuse to spend time finding funny things on the net. I trawl through heaps of great material before I choose the one I want to share. The result is a happy me!

  5. Thanks, Hubby's watching yours right now. I sent it to him because the
woman on the left could be the twin of someone he works with. He's
laughing out loud and asking me if it was a put-on. We'll never know...

  7. Thanks as ever for the funnies! Didn't get a chance to link up last week, so here's one from last Friday (which is oodles funnier than this Friday's effort anyway!).
