On Sundays, I join Thea at Do I Really Wanna Blog? in popping some music on the blog. The rules are: there are no rules!
Old or new or in between. Related or not.
But always songs you love!
Here are my picks for this week.
You can play along by linking up with Thea.
Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday!
This week's session is really about New Year's Eve, and we in Australia are already in 2012, but as a lot of my readers are still to have their New Year's Eve, I reckon it's still timely. This next artist was a favourite of my mom's. Here's Diana Krall's version of New Years Eve.
I came across this version on Facebook from a shared link from Oh Deary Me. I actually prefer this version I think, as Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt sing it in a more upbeat manner.
And to ring in the New Year, you can't go past Auld Lang Syne, which was a poem from Dad's favourite poet, Robbie Burns, and the song here is sung by one of my favourite bands, the Bare Naked Ladies.

Now it's your turn, why don't you find a favourite song or two, post them on your blog and link up with Thea. It's easy and fun. Through Sunday Session, I've been exposed to so many fabulous songs I never would have found otherwise. If you don't have a blog, then I still recommend you head over to Thea's to check out what others have shared this week.
On New Year's Day
and the whole year through,
I hope the kindness
you've given to others
returns many times to you.
May hope, love, and warmth
be in your heart's possessing,
and may the New Year
bring you and yours
many blessings.
Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!!
