Sunday Session: Lanie Lane

A couple of weeks ago, I was introduced to the music of Lanie Lane, thanks to Carli at Tiny Savages. I can't believe I had never come across this Australian artist before! Although she has a unique sound, I did come to the conclusion, after spending some time on YouTube last night, that her voice does sound a bit like Gabriella Cilmi. Lanie's song style is totally different however. I think her songs could have been popular sixty years ago. Here's What Do I Do:

So, am I the only one who didn't know who Lanie Lane was? Do you agree that Lanie and Gabriella have a similar vocal sound?
